ExxonMobil Safety and Learning Platform

A native iOS app and responsive web design for engineers to learn safety techniques as well as report safety incidences. The goal was for managers in the field to be able to both report safety incidences and assign one-minute long safety videos to their reports.

Some of the main features:
• An ability for managers to assign videos and track who had fully watched them
• An ability to report safety incidences from the field as they happened, to both help in response as well as educate their crews on how to avoid the accident in the future
• Notifications when reports of unviewed video content within a set amount of time
• Filtering of content on the app board so that only relevant industry content will appear
• Channel-based content if only one industry is needed
• The ability to favorite content to a personal list
• A viewing list showing which videos left to watch, partially or fully watched ones as well
• Corporate contact resources for response teams when an incident is reported
• Designed the back-end CMS for the solution

I directed the user experience and visual design teams. I worked with technical architects and development teams during build: hands-on discovery, UX, design, and workshop tasks.
